Is PNG-TO free?
Yes. There's no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it.
Are my images uploaded?
For almost every format, no. JPG, WebP, PDF, SVG, ICO, GIF, BMP and TIFF are created by your browser, and the page works the same way for the tools. Formats a browser can't write, such as HEIC, EPS and PSD, are converted on our server over HTTPS and deleted automatically within 30 minutes.
Which formats can I convert PNG to?
JPG, WebP, PDF, SVG, ICO, GIF, BMP and TIFF in your browser (AVIF where your browser supports it), plus HEIC, EPS and PSD on our server. You can also convert JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG, BMP and AVIF to PNG.
How many files can I convert at once?
Up to 50 files at a time, each up to 100 MB. Download them individually or as a ZIP.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in current mobile browsers. Very large batches or very large images are faster on a computer.
Why is my converted file bigger than the PNG?
Some formats are larger by nature: BMP and TIFF store pixels with little or no compression, and PDF keeps the pixels lossless. For smaller files, choose JPG, WebP or AVIF, or compress the PNG.
